REFLECT™ 2-Wire Radar Level Sensor

Manufacturer: Pulsar Measurement

Providing the highest confidence in level measurement in the most challenging conditions.

The REFLECT™ 2-wire radar sensor provides accurate level or volume monitoring of liquids and solids in critical measurement applications, ensuring complete peace of mind with a product that requires minimal skills and human intervention, thereby minimizing the lifetime cost of ownership. Outperforming products that, up until now, required frequent and costly manual intervention to validate measurement integrity.
Features
Accurate, Reliable, and Robust

The hermetically sealed Pulsar Measurement REFLECT™ level sensors require no routine servicing, able to withstand the harshest environments while maintaining accuracy in the presence of extreme dust, temperature, moisture, pressure, and chemicals. The narrow 6° beam angle and unique built-in DATEM software allow the sensor to focus on the true level, giving you the accurate data you need to make decisions about your operations.

Unique and Secure Bluetooth and Web-Based App

The REFLECT™ uses a web-based app to give an easy and convenient way for you to change parameters, access trend reports, and view echo traces. The web-based app is accessible through any device (PC, Android, or iOS). Once the control app has loaded on your device, you won’t need to worry about the signal. Using a web-based app also means there are no regular updates to install - just scan the QR code and you’re ready to go!

Bluetooth is built into REFLECT™ as standard, but for added security and confidence that only authorized users can access the device, its range is user definable. Users can easily set the maximum signal range of each REFLECT™ to be up to 40 m (131.2 ft), depending on the size of your facility.

Ease of Installation

In ‘installation’ mode, REFLECTTILT™ ensures optimal measurement by using the built-in LEDs to signal when the sensor is level (in liquid applications) or giving the greatest signal strength (in solids applications). In ‘‘operation’ mode, these lights are used to give an early indication of a change in measurement integrity and to give confidence in the accuracy of your data.

REFLECTTILT™ utilizes a NAMUR NE 107-based traffic light system – a red light means that something needs to be addressed, amber is an early warning that something may not be quite right, and a green light signals that the device is working optimally. Installation and use of your sensor have never been so simple!

The Reflect-W sensor can be fitted with an optional Front Nose Thread Adapter, for direct connection to a process, and is suitable for both BSP and NPT connections. As the Reflect-W has been designed predominantly for use in water and wastewater applications, the Front Thread Adapter offers a reliable mechanical connection to both BSP and NPT threads.  However, for applications that require air-tight sealing, please contact Pulsar Measurement for further advice.
